  Very , very disappointing . The guy who runs this place does so for himself rather than for his customers. Half of the menu was unavailable and he routinely served short measures- why the licensing authority have not picked this up I don't know . He also doesn't open at the advertised times and closes when he gets fed up rather than at the published times. The only saving grace was the food which was superb . Great potential but needs a new landlord

  Buy a couple bottle next door at the Knoydart Foundation store and drink them by the water or go the the Tearoom across the street.
  
  The guy running the pub told me he couldn't give me cash back because my card was foreign...
  
  Was offered a taste to me, poured the whole beer, without naming a price.
  
  Ran my card for 6 pounds for the beer.
  
  Good beer, but you can get that anywhere. The guy that runs it doesn't understand that this place's business is built on trust built up over many years, and now he's losing it, and will lose the business.
